How Hilton engineered creator-led reach for For The Stay

How Hilton turned its 'For The Stay' brand campaign into a creator-led system across APAC, and the reach, view rate and engagement it earned with Vamp.

How Hilton engineered creator-led reach for For The Stay

Hilton turned its “For The Stay” campaign into a creator-led distribution system across APAC, and earned 360,630 in reach, a 10% view rate and a 4.1% average engagement rate from just six creators.

The brand didn’t need another burst of advertising. It needed the campaign’s central idea, that it matters where you stay, to travel through voices its audience already trusted. So Vamp engineered the creator layer around it: six handpicked creators, authentic storytelling, one coordinated system pointing attention at a single landing page.

The takeaways:

The challenge: how do you extend a brand campaign without diluting it?

Hilton had a strong campaign in “Hilton. For The Stay” and a clear message: it matters where you stay. What it wanted was distance, to push that idea deeper into APAC and drive qualified traffic to its landing page, without the message flattening into generic advertising along the way.

That is a structural problem, not a creative one. The creative already worked. The question was how to carry it through channels and voices the audience actually pays attention to, at a consistent quality, all pointing in the same direction.

The shift: from amplification to engineered distribution

The instinct most brands have is to “add some influencers” on top of a campaign. We treat it differently. Creators aren’t a bolt-on to a campaign. They’re a distribution system you design.

So the brief wasn’t “find six people to post about Hilton.” It was: build a creator layer that extends “For The Stay” with credibility intact, coordinate it as one operation, and measure what it returns. Sometimes influence takes centre stage. Here it played the supporting role. And a supporting role only works when it’s engineered to fit the lead.

What we did

Vamp designed and ran the creator programme behind the campaign:

The result was a campaign that felt native to each creator’s feed while staying unmistakably Hilton, emotional resonance through authentic narratives, reinforcing that it matters where you stay.

The outcome

The programme delivered on the campaign’s core objective: extend the message, keep it credible, and move people.

Metric Result
Creators 6
Reach 360,630
Impressions 359,177
View rate 10%
Avg. engagement rate 4.1%

A 10% view rate and a 4.1% average engagement rate from six creators is the signal that matters most: audiences didn’t just see the content, they stopped and participated in it. The campaign achieved real reach, real engagement and real cultural relevance, proof that influence, designed as infrastructure rather than added as an afterthought, makes a strong brand campaign travel further.

What’s next: from one campaign to always-on influence

A single activation proves the model. The bigger opportunity is repeatability, turning a one-off creator programme into an always-on system that compounds brand equity and performance over time, rather than resetting with every campaign.

That’s the work we do. Vamp is a tech-enabled influencer marketing agency: we design creator-led growth systems and run the infrastructure behind them, so influence becomes measurable growth instead of a moment that fades. Talk to us.
